Hi my family & I are coming to Disney & are very excited to come Jan.17-20. What would be a good package deal for a 2 adult passes to magical kingdom & Disney’s Hollywood studios & to book a room for three nights. Thank-you

    Bonjour Glenda!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us this magical question and making us part of your planning process! I am always so happy when I see fellow Canadians in our queue, and I know just how special these Disney trips are for us. Besides, there is no better way to escape the Canadian cold than by flying to sunny Florida!

Glenda, I am so glad you are looking into booking a Disney Resort hotel for your upcoming stay at the Walt Disney World Resort! I always love staying at the Disney Resort hotels as their amenities, proximity to important services such as restaurants and merchandise, and complimentary Guest transportation make your vacation that much more convenient. Plus, I love that you can still enjoy the Disney magic even after you have left the theme parks! What I also love about the Resorts is that there are options for every budget. If you visit the Walt Disney World Resort website and click on the "Places to Stay" tab, you can look through the available Resort offers for your trip dates. The prices start at Value Resorts at the lowest and increase as you look through Moderate Resorts and Deluxe Resorts. Similarly, the number of amenities available increases per category, so you can pick the best option for your needs and budget. I love staying at the Value Resorts, but I also love treating myself to a moderate or deluxe stay every once in a while. Plus, if you keep an eye on the reservation system, you may be able to find some great deals! For any more tips on how to pick your Resort hotel, be sure to watch our episode of the planDisney podcast on this topic!

Another great way to find the best deals is to keep an eye on the Special Offers page online. Indeed, Canadian residents sometimes have access to special offers on theme park tickets or Disney Resort hotels. These special offers have specific requirements in order to be used, however, so be sure to keep an eye on the Special Offers page and look through the offers as they come in! It is also important that you may be asked to bring proof of citizenship to benefit from these offers, like your passport, for example!

I hope this was helpful, Glenda, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach back out. If you're ever wondering if we can help with something, remember what Duke Caboom said: "yes, we Can-ada!"

    Have a magical day,
