Hello!!! My family is coming to Disney Dec. 17 - Dec 26, are there any restaurants in Magic Kingdom that will serve a traditional Christmas dinner on Christmas Day, such as turkey, ham and all the trimmings???? Thanks so much!!

    Hi James!

Many restaurants around Walt Disney World, both inside and outside the theme parks, will offer a special menu for Christmas dinner.  Unfortunately, Disney has not announced that yet for 2010 and probably won't until very close to Christmas.

However, I recommend making an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) at the Liberty Tree Tavern.  Their normal dinner, historically consisting of turkey breast, carved beef, and smoked pork loin with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and stuffing would be perfect for that night.  I also think the atmosphere there can't be beat by any other restaurant in the Magic Kingdom, especially on Christmas night.

By the way, Christmas will be packed in the Magic Kingdom.  Be sure to have a good plan that day.  I suggest using a touring plan from the team that writes "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  They have a website at TouringPlans.com.  The team at Touring Plans does a great job creating plans that will minimize the amount of time you have to wait in lines, which is especially important on a very crowded day.  Their plans are based on a lot of math and years of collected data.  As an engineer, I'm a big fan of their work.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!!
