Hi Samantha,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this question to us!
The holiday season is certainly a special time at the Walt Disney World Resort. There are events to appeal to children of all ages. First, I want to be sure that you have a resort hotel reservation and dining reservations. If you have not booked these already, do so immediately. Take a look at the Disney Parks Blog for
Thanksgiving, Christmas Day Ideas for Dining at Walt Disney World Resort. It will give you an idea of which restaurants might serve special meals on Christmas day.
Second, I suggest that you experience Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. If you plan to dine during the Christmas party, be sure to review
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dining information. I loved witnessing Queen Elsa transform the castle into an ice palace. The park just came to life!
Another must-do is the
Candlelight Processional at Epcot or the Candlelight Dining Package. The music is beautiful and the guest narrators do a phenomenal job re-telling the biblical story of the holiday season. When we heard the music and the narration at last year's Candlelight Processional, I finally felt as if we had paused long enough to appreciate the spirit of the holiday season.
Samantha, make sure you read the information on
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. It will give you more ideas to spread a little pixie dust on your visit.
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
