Bright Suns, Marcus! Welcome to planDisney!
I have a good feeling about your upcoming voyage to the
planet Batuu! You and your traveling companions will enjoy discovering local delicacies at eateries like
Ronto Roasters and
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. Plus,
the Millennium Falcon is on-planet, so you won't want to miss getting a look at the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy!
Marcus, the latest news from the Resistance will definitely make your trip to Batuu a little easier. Beginning September 22, boarding groups will no longer be required to ride
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! Since you'll be visiting in October, you will simply go straight to the attraction entrance and hop in the regular standby line to ride.
To help pass the time in the queue, be sure to have the
Play Disney Parks app installed on your phone to access the Star Wars: Datapad for some fun interactive games and activities. You can find out what's inside some of the containers scattered throughout the passageways, eavesdrop on Resistance and First Order communications, and help Finn and his team on their mission. My son absolutely loves to explore all the features of the Datapad, and it really helps the time fly!
You may still like to connect your party through your
Family & Friends List to keep track of other plans you've made, so let's quickly step through how to do that. In the
My Disney Experience app on your phone, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of your screen, then scroll down to "My Profile" on the next page. Next, click on the "Family & Friends List" tab, and then on "Add a Guest." Select "I'll enter their name and age" and type in their info to initiate an email invitation for the other Guest to connect with you. Just make sure you have the email they used to create their account. They can then accept your invitation, and just like that, you're connected!
Marcus, I hope you have a galactically spectacular time exploring Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question, and May The Force Be With You. Always.
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
