Hello My family and I are coming the beginning of November for the first time. Our teenager wants to go to Star wars and we dorkniw what else we should plan for the other two days. We have an almost 8 year old. Any recommendations beyond getting the app?

Hi Ashlee, and welcome to planDisney!

November is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort with your family for the first time. There will be so many memories to create and cherish.

Your teenager has excellent taste because Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a “must-do,” especially for first-timers, in my opinion. From experiencing an interactive smuggling mission on the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run to building a custom lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers. For your eight-year-old, EPCOT is the way to go! The entire family can enjoy my new favorite attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and stay until nightfall and enjoy the sights and sounds of Harmonious with lots of things to keep you busy in between. If you want to visit a third theme park, I recommend Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and I think you will find it a favorite. Do not forget to make your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass Reservation System.

If you decide to skip the third theme park day, Disney Springs is the way to go, with a morning or afternoon break at your resort pool.

We are here if you have additional questions before your arrival in November.

    Have a magical first time!
