Our family of 3 is coming in Aug and staying at PO R. My daughter will not sleep without lights & I can not sleep with light in my eyes. I am re-thinking staying at AofA family suite. Is there an actual door to the master or only a door frame. Thank

    Hi Debbi!

Disney's brand new Art of Animation Resort's family suite accommodations will be the perfect solution for you needing darkness and your daughter needing a hint of light at nighttime!

I had the pleasure of touring the incredible facilities just 10 days ago, and they were spectacular!
I'm happy to confirm for you that within the family suite, the separate bedroom has a fully closing door, not just a door frame, as well as its own ensuite bath. Your daughter will have the option of sleeping on the pull-out couch in the living area, or on the bed which converts from a wall pull down that acts as a table by day! Since there's another full bathroom in the living space, you'll be able to leave a bathroom light on for her, with the door ajar, providing her that light she needs. Meanwhile, you can be tucked away in darkness behind your closed door. It will be just perfect for both of you!

Please don't hesitate to contact me again if I can answer anything further for you about Disney's Art of Animation Resort, or any other planning questions you may have.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Debbi!
