Hi Jennifer,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a fabulous crew you are bringing to the Walt Disney World Resort! I am so excited that you will be there during the holiday season.
Character meals are an absolute must-do for our family. One of our favorites that typically has been more affordable than others is
The Crystal Palace. Winnie the Pooh and the gang are always delightful. Now that our girls are 10-years old, one of them is almost as tall as Piglet!
Some of our other favorite character dining experiences are
Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, Hollywood & Vine, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Cinderella's Royal Table. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Cinderella's Royal Table are both princess character experiences. If you select one of the princess dining experiences, be sure that your prince and princesses go dressed as royalty.
The
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are beautiful and busy. Since dining reservations are booked 180 days in advance, I suggest you immediately make your
dining reservations. When I just checked availability for The Crystal Palace for Christmas day, there were no tables available for your party size. It may be tough for you to find a table since Christmas day is such a busy time of year. But, keep trying! Cancellations do happen.
Jennifer, be sure you take autograph books and a large pen (these are easier for the characters to grip). And, if you go to The Crystal Palace, be sure to have the little ones march in the Pooh-rade!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
