Our family of 4 (w/ children ages 4 and 3) are traveling to WDW in Sept. 2011. We are having a hard time deciding between the WL and GF. Which hotel would you recommend and why?

Hi, Laurie! I'd go Wilderness Lodge. I mean, I'd recommend Wilderness Lodge. I wouldn't go with you. That'd be awkward. Plus, your state (Illinois) and mine (Wisconsin) have a little bit of a rivalry to maintain.

Why Wilderness Lodge? For starters, the room cost is going to be a good chunk less per night at Wilderness Lodge. In addition, your 3 year old and 4 year old will get a kick out of the bunk beds. Heck, they may actually look forward to going to bed.

Granted, the Grand Floridian has the monorail convenience, but I'd be willing to sacrifice that for the cost savings, room set-up and resort ambiance at Wilderness Lodge.
