    Hi! My family of 4 with children aged 8 & 9 are looking for a nice, relaxing hotel where we can lounge by the pool for an entire day- what do you suggest???

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Hooray for pool days!

    Luckily, you have several amazing options. My girls adore the Lava pool at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort & Spa. We have lounged for hours. The entire area feels as if we are actually in a tropical paradise. I like that it is big enough for them to play independently and for me to relax while also keeping an eye on them. If you want a more expansive pool experience, try Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts. This waterpark area is literally an adventure. Two of my favorite resort hotels are Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Both pool areas are super fun for kids. For me, 'Ol Man Island at Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside is more relaxing.

    With Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, we enjoy the other activities the resort has to offer. At Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, the grounds are simply lovely. I just love to walk the resort. At Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, we enjoy the dining experiences as well. After a day at the pool, we dine at Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show or watch the Happily Ever After fireworks while dining at 'Ohana.
