My family and I want to check out a few resorts on our next trip. I know pool hopping is not allowed at WDW resorts, but can my kids participate in poolside activities?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Breanne!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort hotels other than the one at which I'm staying is one of my favorite activities while on vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I love to immerse myself in the theming of the more than twenty spectacular hotels on property. I do hope you get to explore a few on your upcoming trip. If you get the chance, be sure to spend some time at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Not only is this Northwest-inspired paradise my favorite hotel, but it has recently undergone a rather impressive expansion. It's definitely worth a visit.

While visiting other Walt Disney World Resort hotels is heartily encouraged, participating at poolside activities at other hotels is not likely to be possible. Most of the hotel pools can be accessed only with the tap of the MagicBand of a Guest registered at that hotel. The good news is, however, that there is exciting poolside fun to be found at all the Walt Disney World Resort hotels so your children can definitely look forward to a splashing good time where you are staying.

If you need suggestions for activities your children might enjoy, just tell us their ages and interests in a follow-up question and my friends and I here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel would be happy to give you a bunch of fun ideas.

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
