Family of 4 (ch 6 & 5) traveling 1/21, any suggestion on places to eat? we bought the meal plan.

    Michelle:

You didn't mention which meal plan you bought, however, if you have the regular dining plan that includes table service restaurants, I would STRONGLY suggest making reservations. To me, this would be important with a 5- and 6-year old who may not have the patience to be put on a waiting list. You can make reservations by calling: 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).

    Magic Kingdom favorites:
Counter: Pecos Bills for it's build-your-own hamburger bar
Table: Crystal Palace for it's Character Dining with Pooh and friends, not to mention a wonderful all-you-can-eat dessert buffet!

    Epcot favorites:
Counter: Sunshine Seasons for its many "fresh" options.
Table: Biergarten for its floor show and buffet for picky eaters in the bunch.

    Disney Studios favorites:
Counter: Backlot Express for its kid's meal sides that include a choice of grapes or carrots.
Table: Sci-Fi Dinner Theatre for it's fun atmosphere that includes eating in a "car."

    Animal Kingdom favorite:
Counter: Flametree BBQ because it's just good food--and lots of it.
(I like Rainforest Cafe, but it's not on the dining plan)

Check out the restaurant menus at www.allears.net if you want to do some in-depth research, and don't forget recommendations from other panel moms on Disney counter service and table service.

    Enjoy your trip!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
