Our family has Celiacs Disease and needs to eat gluten free without contamination. Is there a way for us to do this at the resorts, parks, and restaurants? Are some food venues better for gluten free meals?

Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Bobbi!

Theme park meals used to be synonymous with deep fried everything. However, dining around Walt Disney World Resort has become it's own activity with monthly Disney Parks Blog posts and merchandise dedicated to food. Huge strides have been made to accommodate all kinds of special dietary requests.

Table-Service Dining Locations are going to be your best bets when it comes to both alternative menus as well as dedicated kitchen facilities that prevent cross contamination. Do note your dietary needs when making all dining reservations, or add them to each reservation at least 14 days before each meal. Most Quick-Service Dining Locations recently added all of their Allergy menus to the bottom portion of their online menus, so you can plan in advance. You'll find a ton of Gluten-friendly entree items all over, like ribs or salmon, and you can make substitutions for the side items, like getting steamed veggies instead of couscous. You'll also find pre-packaged g-free treats in most shops.

Should you need more assistance, please reach out to the Special Dietary Requests team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com And to help you feel 100 percent super safe, guests are allowed to bring in as much outside food and non-alcoholic beverages as they'd like. (Disney does ask that all glass containers stay home.) You're even allowed to bring a rolling cooler under 24" X 15" X 18"!

We'll See You Real Soon, Bobbi!
