Hi Michelle,
I am so glad you stopped by planDisney with this question!
If you still have not secured any
advanced dining reservations, I suggest that you check all dining locations that accept reservations. I just checked for Christmas day dinner and there were three restaurants with availability. Try searching the entire restaurant list by meal period (i.e. dinner or lunch) first. Then, try searching by specific time blocks. If you are searching for dinner, start at 3:00 p.m. You may have to eat early or late. But, I think you can find something, especially at
Disney Springs. Also, we have had some success using an online Disney dining reservation finder tool. Just search online for one. When we get an alert that a reservation is available, we have 15 minutes to claim it!
Cancelations do happen so keep checking. And reserve what you can when you see something available. I have discovered that it gives me some sort of relief if I have at least one reservation rather than none at all, even if that reservation is not at an optimal time. I also searched for a party of five for dinner on Christmas eve but I searched starting at the specific time of 3:00. I saw a 4:15 p.m. at
Rix Sports Bar & Grill, a 3:45 p.m. at
Splitsville Dining Room, and a 3:30 p.m. at
Paradiso 37, Taste of the Americas. Although by the time you search again, those reservation times may be taken, I share them as an example of earlier dinner times.
Michelle, keep hope alive! The magic of this time of year keeps bringing my family back. I trust you will find a few dining reservations for your family. Magic lives on, especially during the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
