My family and I will be celebrating my son's 5th birthday there at the end of March. I have multiple dining reservations set up including breakfast at Chef Mickey's on his actual birthday. If I let the them know ahead of time will they do anything?

    Hi Christine,

Disney World is the perfect place for a birthday celebration! You'll definitely want to make a note of his birthday on your Advanced Dining Reservations. I would also remind them while checking in at the host/hostess stand. They will often sprinkle the table in Mickey confetti, bring over a cupcake and present him with a card signed by the characters. I took my three youngest children for solo trips to Disney with me last summer for each of their birthdays. I made note of the celebration on each reservation and they were treated to fun surprises all week. Please keep in mind that all restaurants are different and you may receive different things. Make sure you pick up a complimentary birthday button at Guest Relations for your little guy.

Please let me know if I can assist you further and have a wonderful vacation,
