My family and I will be celebrating my sons 21st birthday with a Disney World vacation. We are staying at pop century but are considering having birthday libations at the Polynesian on his day. Is late evening transportation available between resorts?

Hi Karen! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I can’t think of a better place to celebrate a 21st birthday than at the Walt Disney World Resort. It will be a lot of fun celebrating with the whole family too! Make sure to grab a birthday pin from the front desk at Disney’s Pop Century Resort! I sure hope that you are planning to celebrate at one of my favorite places: Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. I can’t even tell you how much fun I have had at this tropical tiki bar.

Complimentary Resort Transportation begins to run from the Resort hotels to the Theme Parks approximately 45 minutes before park opening and up to one hour past park closing. Additionally buses will operate until approximately 2:00 A.M. from the Disney Springs area. Unfortunately the bus transportation does not operate between Resort hotels. If there is a Theme Park that is open late enough you could always take transportation from Disney’s Polynesian Resort to that theme park and catch a bus back to Pop Century. You also could take a bus to Disney Springs and then grab a bus back to Pop Century. Or you could call for a cab back to your Resort hotel. If you choose to call for a cab you will have a much shorter commute back to your Resort hotel and you won’t have to worry about time!

I hope that you have an Unforgettable time celebrating!
