I went ahead and took a look at the reservations for
Plaza Inn and saw what you were probably seeing as well. It appears Plaza Inn is blocked out while the days after it are open for booking. The only reason I can think of for this is that they have yet to announce when their Mother’s Day Brunch reservations will open. I also took a look at the rest of the
character dining experiences and noticed that the 10th is blocked out as well. My go-to move here is to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and to follow
Disneyland on Instagram for updates on when booking will open. While most restaurant reservations are available up to 60 days in advance, special events like Mother’s Day don’t necessarily follow this guideline. I noticed when helping another guest make a booking for April that it was also blocked out for Goofy’s Kitchen until it was announced that reservations would open toward the end of February rather than the typical 60-day window you’d usually see for dining reservations.
If you’re looking for a sweet activity that any mom is sure to love, why not pop into
Silhouette Studio for a silhouette cutting? I love having one of my son as a mom myself! You can include multiple people in one portrait, and it’s such a fun way to create a keepsake treasure. We placed our framed silhouette of my son on one of our floating shelves in the living room, and it’s so special to look at every day. It’s also astonishing to see how quickly the Cast Member doing the cutting works!
