Our family can't wait to return to WDW in mid October for the MNSSHP...that's one event we have never experienced. What does the special Halloween event ticket entitle you to, compared to not purchasing the extra party pass? Thank-you!

Hi Amelia! I think you and your family will have a blast if you decide to purchase the special event ticket for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this fall.  All day guests must exit the park at 7pm and only those who have purchased the event ticket will be allowed to stay to enjoy the evening festivities. You will be given a wristband and cast members will be watching to make sure only those guests who are wearing one allowed to remain in the park. A special hint for guests is that you can enjoy another park that day with a park ticket and then hop over to the Magic Kingdom where the special event ticket will be honored starting around 4pm. That gives you a special 2-3 hour added to your evening and allows you to perhaps make a dining reservation in the park before the party starts.

I suggest your family decide on a costume theme and then come decked out for a fun trick or treating night. There will be stations set up around the park where cast members will be handing out candy for the guests. There are also several dance parties located in Frontierland and Tomorrowland throughout the night where many famous characters might show up to dance with the kids. Of course there is a special Halloween parade and fireworks show each night of the party. It is certainly one of my favorite parades all year and I especially love the grave digger and his dog!

If you have time while you are there be sure and head over to Fort Wilderness to see all the holiday decorations the campers set up on their sites. Some are very extensive and it makes for a fun and different evening out while at Disney.
