My family and I are camping at Fort Wilderness for the first time this June. I'd like to have the breakfast buffet at Trail's End a morning or two. Is it necessary to make a reservation? I'd prefer not to be tied down to time if possible. Thank

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rachel!

Trail's End Restaurant has one of my favorite breakfast buffets at Walt Disney World Resort! It offers a really yummy variety of breakfast goodies, from biscuits and gravy to eggs benedict. And the French Toast-Custard Pudding is FANTASTIC! Since Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a bit of a hidden secret and off of the beaten path, Trail's End Restaurant often has availability to accommodate walk-up Guests. Keep in mind that it will be more difficult to get a table easily for larger groups and during busy seasons, such as spring break or summer vacation. So I always recommend securing a dining reservation for restaurants you want to enjoy during your vacation. That will allow you to enjoy the fantastic restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort without spending too much time waiting for a table.

My family doesn't like me to "over-plan" our vacation and enjoys some spontaneous meals during our trip. So I like to use the My Disney Experience mobile app or the Walt Disney World Resort dining page to make a last minute reservation either on the day of the meal or the day before to secure our time. That way, we have flexibility in our trip plans, but we can still maximize our time playing in the resort.

Let us know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
