My family and I are buying ticket through Disney, but we are going on the trip with a few friends as well. They bought their tickets on base. I was wondering if I would be able to include their tickets under our reservations for the parks?

    Hi Natasha,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your thoughtful question about connecting with friends on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  In my experience, friends who Disney together stay together, and I'm so glad you're planning to make some core memories during The World's Most Magical Celebration.

You can absolutely link to all of your reservations in one place for your upcoming trip, Natasha.  Start by making sure at least one member of your party has a My Disney Experience account.  Each adult or child over 13 may have their own account, which is typically the preference of my traveling parties.  The next step is to connect all members of your party as Family and Friends. You can do this on the webpage or in the My Disney Experience mobile app

Once everyone's connected, anyone with a My Disney Experience account can link the tickets your friends purchased on base and assign them to the Guest.  You can do this on the webpage by hovering over the "My Disney Experience" option on the far right of the menu bar, selecting "My Plans" from the drop-down menu, then hovering over the "Park Tickets" icon and selecting "Link Tickets." In the My Disney Experience app, click on the three small, horizontal lines found on the bottom right of your home screen, then "Tickets and Passes," the "+" sign at the top right of your screen, and finally "Link Tickets and Passes."  The individual will then be prompted to enter each ticket's ID code, which is a series of numbers and letters that will be found on the tickets or exchange vouchers your friends received on base.  Click "Add Another ID Number" to link more than one ticket.  On the next screen, you'll be able to assign each ticket to an individual Guest.

Once all of your friends' tickets are linked, you can make theme park reservations for everyone via the Disney Park Pass system.  Reservations are currently required for park entry at the four theme parks.  As of today, all parks are available every day in February, which is great news for your family, Natasha!

Disney has some specials offers for US military personnel and their families.  Please note that if your friends purchased Disney Military Salute Tickets on base, their tickets need to be activated before entering the theme parks.  Activation can be done at any of the Guest Relations windows conveniently located outside each theme park entrance as well as Disney Springs. Activation can also be done prior to their first park day, as schedules allow.  Military ID is required for activation.

I just know you and your 'Ohana will have a great time experiencing the magic of Disney together. Be sure to let Disney PhotoPass photographers capture some of your magic moments.
