My family is going to be buying annual passes after recently becoming DVC members. Once we purchase them can we link fast passes for an upcoming trip before they are activated? How exactly does that process work?

    Hi Kris,

Congratulations on recently becoming Disney Vacation Club members! You're going to enjoy SO MANY amazing experiences together, celebrating traditions and making new memories! And how exciting that you'll now also be joining the Annual Passholder family. Between the two, you'll definitely be able to soak up ALL of the Disney magic!

Once you purchase your Annual Passes, you simply want to link them to your My Disney Experience account if that hasn't already happened automagically. Did you know that your magical year doesn't start yet, though? You'll receive vouchers that you'll need to take along with a valid photo I.D. to any theme park ticket window or to the Guest Relations location at Disney Springs to activate your Annual Passes. While your magical year doesn't actually begin until you activate the vouchers, having them paired with your account will enable you to make your FastPass+ selections 60 days ahead of time if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel or 30 days ahead of time if you're staying elsewhere.

Thanks so much for visiting us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kris. I hope you and your family enjoy an amazing year of magic with your annual passes and decades of fun with your Disney Vacation Club membership!
