Hi, Donica!
Thanks for bringing
planDisney this question about the
Disneyland Resort. It sounds like your family is looking forward to a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth soon!
While it’s true that Guests were recently asked to bring photo identification so Cast Members at the theme park entrance gates could verify their state of residency, this is generally no longer required now that attendance is not limited to only California residents. I still recommend that your mother verify that her contact information is up-to-date in her Disney account on
Disneyland.com or in the
Disneyland mobile app, and if she won’t have time to receive a new ID before your visit to the resort, she should bring along a temporary paper copy issued by the DMV if she has one. Additionally, any other valid form of photo identification she may have, like a U.S. passport, could be helpful just in case it’s needed while you travel.
I hope this helps and that you all enjoy a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the theme parks soon, Donica! Please stop by again and send us more questions as you continue making plans.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
