Can my family bring our own drinks into resort quick service restaurant locations? Can they be cans? Also can we bring our own bottle drinks into quick service restaurant locations inside the parks?

    Hi, Melissa!

You and your family are welcome to bring your own beverages into your resort's food court. There is no problem there!

While you are welcome to bring your own drinks into theme parks, glass bottles are prohibited, as are alcoholic beverages. All bags are screened when entering the theme parks, and you will not be permitted to bring any prohibited items. Plastic water bottles, plastic soft drink bottles, and non-alcoholic canned beverages are permitted. Small soft sided coolers are fine, but no large coolers or anything pulled on wheels.

When in the theme parks or in your resort's food court, complimentary cups of ice water are yours just by asking at Quick Service counter service locations. This may reduce the number of water bottles you plan to keep with you.

The most important thing to remember is stay hydrated! The sun is hot and you will do a lot of walking, so keep on drinking that water.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
