Hi, family of 4 with boy (6) and girl (2) booked POR (Royal Room) but I heard the buses are slow and property spread out. Was thinking of switching to a standard room at POFQ for it's size & bus stop. Which hotel would be better with our kids age?

Greetings, Anthony, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, with this excellent question regarding which Disney Resort hotels are suitable for your family.

Firstly, Anthony, your decision to be a Disney Resort hotel Guest is wise, as you will be privy to exclusive and convenient benefits surrounded by magical experiences throughout your stay. Having stayed at both Disney's Port Orleans Resorts-French Quarter and Riverside, I can attest that the Riverside is extensive in layout, whilst the French Quarter is more compact. The Royal Rooms at the Riverside are delightful, with regal over-the-top theming! I have found that Walt Disney World® Bus Service is efficient, convenient and I appreciate the timed clocks at each bus stop indicating the next arrival time.

May I offer Disney's Planning for Preschool Kids and Little Ones online guide containing:
    - suitable Disney Resort hotels and potential offers
    - tips and advice for planning your visit and conveniences during your stay
    - sample Theme Park Itineraries
    - the Preschool Parents' Guide for download and much more

We hope this information is helpful Anthony, best Disney wishes!
