Hello Gina and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is well known for it's happy campers who elaborately decorate their sites and even
Cabins for the season and many of them are truly a sight to behold with some even welcoming Halloween trick or treaters via a clearly marked sign. It's worth remembering that
The Fort is a huge Resort and so touring the camping and cabin loops on foot does require a lot of extra walking.
I think that October 31st would be a devilishly delicious time to make
Advanced Dining Reservations for
Mickey's Backyard BBQ as whist you are visiting this most beautiful of Resorts you could also join in with all the Halloween fun. If you plan to utilise
Disney's Resort Transportation be sure to allow plenty of additional travel time to arrive at least 50 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and if arriving by car you will be directed to a satellite parking lot and should allow up to an extra 30 minutes to transfer by bus to Mickey's Backyard BBQ Pavilion.
I also thought you may find this
Disney Parks Blog - Trick or Treat... it's time for Halloween at Walt Disney World Resort a useful planning resource for your upcoming October visit.
Wishing you the happiest of haunts for this coming Halloween.
