Hello! My family and I have booked two day hopper Pass tickets with Genie plus. One person may not be able to make it. Are we able to transfer their ticket to another person‘s name? Thank you!

A warm planDisney welcome to you, Alison. Fellow Oregonian here, and I'm thrilled to help with your question.

I'm sorry to hear that someone in your party might not be able to attend anymore. The good news is that you most certainly can gift that ticket to someone else. The names assigned to the tickets are more for organization in the Disneyland app and don't need to be changed. A friendly Cast Member will take each person's picture upon scanning their ticket. This picture will serve as the ticket holder identification throughout the time of your visit. Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo, that's all you need to do!

It sounds like you are planning to have your best Disney day! Summoning the phenomenal cosmic powers of Disney Genie+ Service is a great way to do this. Keep in mind that you can begin making Lightning Lane selections as soon as your ticket has been scanned and you've entered the theme park. I also like to set a timer or reminder on my phone for when I'm able to make my next Lightning Lane selection.

Don't forget to take advantage of the unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads from the day. Pixar Fest is in full swing and you might just catch a beloved character or two to make a core memory with.

Alison, I hope the information I've shared has been helpful. Here's wishing you and your family a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Adventure is out there!
