Hi, my family of 4 booked our 1st trip in June. We got the dining plan the one below the deluxe. I have made 3 reservations 1 is Cinderella Castle which is 2meals. Were staying for 4 nights & 5 days, leaving late on the 5th night. Do we need the deluxe

Hi Veronica!  With the dining plan you chose your family will have a total of 16 table service credits, 16 quick service credits and 16 snack credits for your stay. By dining at Cinderella's Castle you will use up 8 credits at one time. But that will leave you with enough table service credits for two more meals for your family and still have plenty of quick service credits.  Even if you have to pay out of pocket for a quick service meal for one or two times I think you are better financially to stay with that plan then to buy into the deluxe plan.

When we have used the deluxe meal plan we have found it is too much dining!  We didn't want three meals a day at a table service location and now we just make one dining reservation per day and fill in with quick service in the parks and at the resorts. We found ourselves taking too much time dining and not enough time just relaxing and touring the parks.

My opinion would be to stay with the plan and not upgrade to the deluxe.  But you are best to judge what your family would prefer and how much dining in the table service restaurants is important to you.  I can guarantee you will not go hungry no matter what plan you are on as the food is very good throughout Walt Disney World!
