Hello, Chaeli!
Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are very excited to answer your question regarding your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! I know you are counting down the days! WOO HOO!
I know you are SO excited Mickey Mouse and his pals have opened up the gates to the
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park! I can't WAIT for you to see and experience these two TIGGER-ific theme parks VERY SOON!
Now, to answer your question...
There are two main ways to prove if a guest is a California resident. The first is verifying their California residency through their My Disneyland Account by their current California address in the system. Also, when a guest makes a
Disneyland Theme Park reservation, they are required to certify that they are, in fact, a California resident. Since you have already purchased tickets and made your Disneyland Theme Park Reservations, you should be good to go! When I talked to a very helpful Cast Member, she told me that a form of identification MAY be checked at the gate. To cover all of your bases, my recommendation would be to have as many of your family members bring a form of identification just in case a Cast Member asks to prove your current California residence at the park gate.
As more and more TIGGER-ific information is shared about the
phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, I would highly recommend following Disneyland on all of its social media channels and subscribing to
The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information!
If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!
Have a MAGICAL day!
