    Hi Moms! My family have booked to stay at SS in Sept 2014 - 10 of us we're so excited already! We've stayed in WDW before in POR and absolutely loved it! We're worried SS wont have as much disney magic as POR like the themed music etc. Is SS as fun? Thanks

    Disney's Port Orleans Riverside resort is absolutely beautiful!  I can see why you loved it there.

    I think that all of the Walt Disney World resorts are quite well themed.  The question is really if you like the theme of the particular resort.  Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa carries a theme of an upstate New York resort including horse racing in the late nineteenth century.  It is a lovely resort.  I do have to say that my family has stayed there, and it's not our favorite of the themes.  I think that the theme is a little less immersive than at other resorts.  Also, my family is just not partial to horses.  I will say that Disney's Saratoga Springs included the amenities you would expect for this level of resort, including nice pools, immaculate rooms, and great recreation options including bike rentals and a Community Hall.  For a similar type of resort, my family really enjoys Disney's Old Key West Resort.  This resort is themed after the Florida Keys, which is a theme that appeals to us more.  It feels laid back and immersive.  Given the choice between Disney's Saratoga Springs and Disney's Old Key West resorts, we would choose Disney's Old Key West Resort.  

    I do think that this is a matter of opinion, and that your family will have a lovely vacation no matter where you decide to stay at Walt Disney World.  Please check out the websites to see which resorts appeal most to you and your family.  I hope that this information helps, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
