My family just booked a stay at OKW in late July and my sister will be celebrating her 40th birthday during our vacation. Any suggestions for a fun way to celebrate her big day? Don't want to break the bank and our group includes 4 kiddos.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura! I'm excited to see your summer includes a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Disney's Old Key West Resort is a great place to spend a birthday and I'm sure we can find a special "extra" to help your sister ease into her Fabulous Forties! I'll start with a few suggestions and hope that will spark an idea your whole traveling party can embrace.

If your sister is a fan of fireworks, there are ways to enjoy the show beyond just watching from the parks. First, have you checked out the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise? This cruise around the Seven Seas Lagoon includes sweet treats and a memorable spot to view Happily Ever After, a fireworks show that pulls on my heartstrings every time.

Second, you could enjoy exclusive seating with a dessert party inside the parks, like the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase. Here you will be treated to Frozen themed desserts, a private viewing area and then a ride on Frozen Ever After!

If your sister might enjoy peeking behind the curtain, consider a tour! A kid-friendly option would be Caring for Giants where you can get a closer look at and learn more about African elephants at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

If you're hoping to stay closer to your resort, you can order a specialty cake from Amorette's Patisserie which can be delivered to the Table Service restaurant of your choice. Olivia's Cafe at Disney's Old Key West Resort would be a great option for this! If you'd like to surprise her with balloons or flowers with your meal, take a look at all that is offered by Disney Floral & Gifts

Laura, I would also recommend browsing through all of the Enchanting Extras to find even more ideas to make your sister's big day as Magical as Cinderella's big night was.

Best wishes for an unforgettable vacation,
