Hi Jade, welcome to planDisney!
Visiting Walt Disney World Resort is a dream come true; visiting with family is like giving that dream a warm hug. I just got back from a marvelous Disney vacation where I got to lay eyes on my 2-year-old nephew laying eyes on Cinderella Castle for the very first time. I get chills just thinking about that moment and know you're destined for similar magic moments with your family.
You can view and make plans for anyone that appears on your
Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience. Your family members likely already have their own My Disney Experience account(s) to which their "separate reservation" is linked. To connect with members of your family, click "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your Family & Friends List. If you have your family's reservation information, you can add them via the "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation." If you do not know their reservation information, select "I'll enter their name and age." Once you enter the age of "18+," enter an email address associated with a family member's My Disney Experience account. Repeat for additional family members. If any family members have My Disney Experience account profiles managed by another person, add the managing adult to your Family & Friends List first, then select "Find through my connected Guests" to add the additional profiles.
Once everyone in your party is connected as Family & Friends, you've unlocked the magic of seamless planning. You can make
theme park reservations, book dining reservations, purchase
Disney Genie+ service, book Lightning Lane attractions, etc. for each other. As your personal settings allow, you can also view everyone's Disney Photopass images. My family often has a contest to see who can make the funniest faces on attractions.
If you have any trouble connecting with your family in My Disney Experience, Jade, please
reach out with follow-up questions. We're all in this together!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
