Hiya Sanjoy! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! Your trip is booked and you have a Walt Disney World vacation to look forward to! There is nothing more exciting than starting the countdown and planning for your upcoming stay. Choosing to stay at a neighboring resort that you can link to your
My Disney Experience account is one of my favorite options. While you won't receive all of the perks of staying onsite, you'll still benefit in several ways!
By the sound of it, it looks like linking your hotel stay is giving you a bit of trouble. Your best bet will be to contact the hotel you are staying at directly and have them correct the number of Guests on your reservation. My guess is that the room accommodates up to four Guests, and since many hotels don't require you to list each person's name, it may have automatically defaulted to four Guests. Once the hotel makes this update, you should be able to then link your hotel correctly to your My Disney Experience account.
If you are still having trouble, you can
call the Website Support line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. I needed some help on a recent stay and they were able to fix the issue over the phone and set my account up properly for our future stay.
When planning for your trip, make sure to identify all of the special perks you receive with your hotel stay. Many of the participating hotels include
Early Theme Park Entry to the parks each day. This allows you a 30-minute head start on the rest of the Guests which you can utilize to ride select attractions and experiences. My family has always found this extra time very valuable and has taken advantage of it as often as we can!
Sanjoy, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming visit! Have a magical trip!
See ya real soon!
