Ahoy there Abi and welcome back aboard planDisney.
Disney Vacations by Land and Sea are what I dream about regularly as spending time relaxing on a Disney Cruise Line ship and then pounding the pavement to ride all the exciting thrills attractions at Walt Disney World Resort is practically perfect in every way.
Currently, there is no luggage storage for Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel while Guests are sailing to an exotic place like
Disney Castaway Cay. Fortunately, there is plenty of space in your stateroom. In the stateroom, we have stored two large roller suitcases, two rollerboards under the bed, and backpacks in various other areas like the spacious closet. We even bring heavy-duty magnetic hooks to hold items on the walls because all stateroom walls and doors are metal. A revelation for us during our last 11-night cruise was to take advantage of the
self-service laundry facilities on board the ship as well as at our hotel.
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is no different and has plenty of washer and dryers so you do not need to bring your entire wardrobe. Disney Cruise Line has put together a handy
packing list for you to follow to keep your suitcases streamlined.
While I know traveling across the pond with lots of luggage can be cumbersome, Disney Cruise Line staterooms should be able to accommodate. If you want to know the size of the stateroom storage areas, review some walk-through videos online where other voyagers have detailed the room down to the size of the stateroom door plaques.
Abi, I hope this information helps you as you plan to party with Mickey and the crew in the Caribbean and at the "Most Magical Place on Earth,"
Walt Disney World Resort. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions or for other Disney vacation planning tips.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories on the High Seas.
