Hi, my family have all booked to go to wdw under one booking & have split the bill between us. I was wondering if we will be allocated our DDP credit individually or as a group? It would be better for us if it was seperate as it could get confusing.

    Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for posting your question to the Moms Panel!

Disney Dining Plan credits are assigned to specific guest rooms, not to individuals.  If your travel party is all in one room, all the Disney Dining Plan credits will be lumped together on the same account.  If, however, you are in separate rooms then each room will have credits to cover the number of guests assigned to that specific room.

I have traveled as part of a fairly large group on the Disney Dining Plan in past years.  Because we all stayed in the same villa, we found that it was important to check in with each other daily to keep pace with how many Disney Dining Plan credits on our account had been used and still remained.  This is easy to track because each dining receipt will give you an updated status on your account.  A little simple daily bookkeeping will assure that everyone gets his or her fair share of the Disney Dining Plan credits.

Let us know if you need any suggestions for how to use your credits in the most cost-effective or fun ways.  We'd be happy to help!
