Hello there, Jen! So good to see you back here at planDisney!
One of my favorite ways to visit the Disneyland Resort is through a
vacation package that includes both hotel accommodations and theme park tickets. I love the
Good Neighbor Hotel option which combines a Disney stamp of approval with flexibility when it comes to budget and accommodations. There's an option to fit all kinds of needs depending on what kind of visit you are planning and who is traveling with you!
Yes, you are correct that your package is sprinkled in pixie dust and comes with some Magical Extras Savings! In addition to a collectible pin and lanyard, you will receive a discount at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes! Four days ahead of your arrival, your full Travel ePackage will arrive via email which will have all kinds of useful information, your tickets, and vouchers for any special discounts. It should also include the location where you can pick up your pin and lanyard, if different from your Good Neighbor Hotel.
Ahead of your arrival, you are able to make your theme park reservations with the Travel ePackage confirmation number. As part of the return to the magic, all Guests are required to have both a ticket and a
reservation to enter the parks. The reservation essentially holds your spot in a particular park on a particular day so Mickey and Minnie know how many people to expect. Reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance and can be canceled and rescheduled. I would go ahead and reserve them as soon as you know your dates to prevent limited availability down the line. Once you link your package confirmation, make your way to the "+" in the bottom navigation bar of the Disneyland Mobile App and choose "Make Park Reservation". Follow the prompts and you will hopefully be all set!
One other date to keep in mind is that
dining reservations will open up to you 60 days in advance. I love to make a lunch reservation to have a guaranteed break from the park hustle and bustle and that California sun. A few of my favorites are
Carnation Cafe where you can watch your fellow Guests along Main Street, U.S.A.,
Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand California Hotel & Spa, and
Goofy's Kitchen if you're in the mood for some character dining fun!
Jen, if you have any more questions in your planning, you know where to find us! We are always here for you at
planDisney!
Magic awaits!
