My family is booked for Disney with a meal plan. However, we are going with some family members that do not have a meal plan. We have meals reserved together. How does it work when we dine together?

Hello Jessica!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I'm happy to read you are using the Disney Dining Plan on your next vacation.  I am a big fan of using it.  Having meals paid for ahead of time is so convenient.

When you are dining at Table Service Meals, your server will come by and ask if you are using the Disney Dining Plan.  Explain to him/her that some of you are and some of you aren't and they will split up the check accordingly.  When you are dining at Quick Service options, you'll need to split your meal up into different orders.  Those that are using the Disney Dining Plan and are on the same account can order together if you wish and then those who aren't using the Disney Dining Plan can order on their own.  It will be a pretty simple process once you get there and start using it.  No worries!

I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
