Welcome to planDisney, Rachel! I am happy to help with your question.
Private ground transfers are available for purchase between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and
Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale after April 2024. It is recommended that you
call Disney Cruise Line to add ground transfers in advance because space is limited. You will need to provide your flight information when you add your ground transfers, so have that information handy. Transportation may include a motor coach, minibus, or taxi, but the Disney Cruise Line representative will make a note of the ages of all of the Guests in your traveling party and select the best option. There are also some airport transport companies listed on the airport website.
There is so much fun for Guests of all ages aboard Disney Cruise Line. If you have little ones from 6 months to 3 years old on most itineraries, the
"it's a small world" Nursery is available for reservation at an extra cost.
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Lab is a space that allows for creativity and interaction for kids ages 3 to 10. For the tweens ages 11 to 14,
Edge is the place to hang out (or so my son tells me) to play video games, and go on scavenger hunts around the ship. For teens ages 14 to 17,
Vibe has music, televisions, along with daily activities. Download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see the listing of the hours of operation once onboard, including Open House times, to get familiar with the spaces.
Rachel, if you have any other questions,
planDisney is here for you. Sail back to see us anytime.
Adventure is out there!
