Ahoy, Donna!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm thrilled that you booked an Alaskan voyage for next September! Cruising to Alaska is one of my favorite and most memorable itineraries. I loved visiting each port of call and having the opportunity to speak with the shop and restaurant owners. It was so fun learning about their family traditions throughout the year.
Halloween on the High Seas is so much fun, isn't it? I'm so glad you've been able to experience the spooktacular events onboard during previous cruises. From what I can tell, your upcoming Disney Cruise to Alaska next September is not a Halloween on the High Seas adventure. Typically, when a cruise is a holiday-themed or specialty cruise, it will be mentioned in the description of the cruise on Disney Cruise Line's website. You'll have so many new and exciting things to look forward to while sailing to Alaska, adventure will be waiting for you on every deck!
Due to environmental reasons, fireworks are not allowed during the Alaskan itineraries. Because of this, there is usually not a Pirate Night. Instead, you can look forward to a
Frozen Deck Party called "Freezing the Night Away!" (Schedules and activities are always subject to change.) I've set sail to Alaska twice and loved how magical it was seeing Queen Elsa and Princess Anna turn the ship into a magical winter WONDERland!
Donna, I can't wait for your Disney Cruise next year! Please sail back and visit us again with any other questions!
