Hello. In 2008 we came as a family and 2 birthdays were spent at magic kingdom and the birthday boys went free is that still the case.

    Hi Paul!

Walt Disney World is the best place to celebrate any special occasion, especially a birthday!  We have a tradition to eat at Chef Mickey's for the birthday kids in our family.

Free admission on your birthday was part of the "What Will You Celebrate?" promotion that ended in 2009.  I had an annual pass at the time, but I visited with several friends that year on their birthdays to take advantage of this awesome gift from Mickey Mouse!

One way I like to make a birthday even more special is to order a specialty cake from Walt Disney World that can be delivered to select restaurants or directly to your Resort room.  We have ordered many cakes through the year and they have all been amazing to see and to eat!  There are so many options and price ranges, you're sure to find one that is perfect for the guest of honor.

Even though admission is no longer free, you can still pick up a complimentary birthday button at any Guest Relations located throughout Walt Disney World or at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel to help celebrate the birthday guest's special day.

    Have a magical day!
