My family and I will begin our stay at WDW on 11/19 (2nd trip!). On day 1 we will be at HS, but plan on heading to Epcot's World Showcase that eveing. Does a water taxi go straight from HS to Epcot? And if so, about how often do they run? Thanks!

    Hi Caryn,

There is a boat that goes from Hollywood Studios to Epcot; however, it's not a direct route.  It stops at several resorts along the way (Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin, and Yacht/Beach). It runs frequently, maybe every 15 minutes or so, but the trip takes some time.  If you have the stamina, it is possible to walk from Hollywood Studios to Epcot.  Another option would be to take a boat to Swan/Dolphin and then walk the rest of the distance.

You can also take a bus directly to Epcot from Hollywood Studios.  This is the fastest option, although certainly not the most scenic.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
