    Our family just became DVC members and will be making our first DVC trip in October for 7 days. If we wanted to buy the disney dining plan, can I buy it for the equivalent of 3 or 4 days or does it have to for the entire length of stay? Thanks!

    Brian, first off let me say CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the Disney Vacation Club family! I assure you it will be magic to your EARS when you are welcomed "Home" for your first official stay as Disney Vacation Club members. I hope you enjoy your membership as much as my family!

    Being able to add the Disney Dining Plan to Disney Vacation Club Resort reservations is just one of many special benefits available to Disney Vacation Club members! Personally, I love the convenience of having everything paid for in advance, with my older kids being able to order meals and snacks on their own using their MagicBands in the event we split up for short periods in the Parks or back at the Resort.

    There are, however, a number of restrictions. First, the Disney Dining Plan must be purchased for all guests on the reservation. Second, the same Disney Dining Plan must be purchased for all guests on the reservation. Choices include the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, the Disney Dining Plan, and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. Third, the Disney Dining Plan must be purchased for the entire length of stay.

    Therefore, Brian, if you have a 7 day reservation and choose to purchase the Disney Dining Plan, you must do so for your entire length of stay.

    On past trips when I have had two or more Disney Vacation Club Resort reservations, I have purchased the Disney Dining Plan for only one of those reservations. Therefore, in the event you have a "split stay" with two or more separate reservations over your 7 day vacation, you would have the option of purchasing the Disney Dining Plan for only one of those reservations.
