My family and I are going to be back in WDW March 2019. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. I am hoping to sty in Trinidad North, do you know if that is a fair distance away from the construction?

Hello Emily! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort was one of the first Walt Disney World Resort hotels that I remember staying at with my parents when I was a kid many years ago. I can still remember walking through Caribbean Cay and my mom laughing loudly at the talking bird that made its home there.

With the refurbishments at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort happening on the North end of the property, the Trinidad North and Trinidad South sections are the 2 furthest buildings from the developments. With Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort being such a large area, the distance from the construction is considerable.

Trinidad North is a comfortable distance away from the construction, but also close enough to the dining and shopping at Old Port Royale to be convenient.

If you choose to venture even further from the construction, I recommend looking into the Pirate-Themed Rooms located in Trinidad South for an adventure fit for a buccaneer.

    Have a Magical Visit!
