    My family and I are going back to Disney World in about 6 weeks and we were wondering if we could use our D 23 discount at the Disney Store at DownTown Disney. I have a gold membership and we always use it at the Disney Store at the mall.

    I'm a gold D23 member as well, so I was really happy to see your question. While I love reading Twenty-Three each quarter, the discounts you get with your membership are pretty awesome as well.

    (I think the discounts I've scored at Downtown Disney's Ghirardelli Chocolate Company alone have been enough to cover my membership fees!)

    Speaking of discounts, you asked a great question about the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney. Unfortunately, it's not one of the participating stores in Downtown Disney that offers discounts to D23 members. You're correct in that you get discounts at the Disney Store locations around the country (or online), but that's a totally different chain of stores. Sorry!

    The D23 website has a list of discounts you can snag during you next trip to Walt Disney World.

    Did you know that you could gift a gold or silver D23 membership to friends and family members? If you're looking for a unique present for a fellow Disney fan, a D23 membership will certainly carry a wow factor!
