Hi April,
There is so much to do at Walt Disney World on a variety of budgets. Let me offer a few suggestions.
If you would like to stay at a Walt Disney World resort on a budget, take a look at the
value and moderate resort hotels. These hotels offer all the benefits of staying at Walt Disney World, such as
Extra Magic Hours, at a lower cost. Taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours is another tip. Extra Magic Hours allow guests at select Walt Disney World resort hotels to enter the parks before they open or stay after they close on select days, and are a great time to experience attractions with shorter waits. Also, whether it is an Extra Magic Hours day or not, we always try to arrive at the theme parks as early as we can, even 30 minutes before posted opening time. Again, this will allow you to wait in shorter lines early in the morning.
Another tip that I use to save money on my vacations to Walt Disney World is to pack your snacks to take into the theme parks. We always carry in plastic bottles of water and soda, as well as snacks such as pretzels and fruit. Along the same lines, we often eat breakfast in our resort room before we head out. A granola bar and banana can keep us going right up until lunchtime!
Finally, you mention that you are going to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I also suggest looking at
The Pirates League. Here, guests can be made up to be a pirate, an empress, or even a mermaid. My daughter did the empress package recently, and we found the cost to be very reasonable and the experience to be really fun!
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions, April!
