Hi , my family and I will be attending Mickey not-so-scary Halloween. We wanted to know if we buy the tickets for this event would be allowed in the park earlier ?

Hi phantom friend and welcome to planDisney. I am glad you stopped by anonymously with this question. Without knowing your name it kinda feels like I am responding to one of the specter residents of the Haunted Mansion. How appropriate for a specter to ask a question about the most ghoulishly delightful evening at Magic Kingdom Park?

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place on select nights from August 11 to November 1, 2023. Officially the party starts at 7:00 PM and ends at the stroke of midnight. However, Mickey has allowed his Guest both embodied and disembodied to enter the theme park beginning at 4:00 PM. In fact, when my family attends this "night of not-so-scariness" for a spook-tacular time we sleep late and make that day a Disney Resorts Collection hotel day by the pool or shop at Disney Springs. We rest up before the party and head to Magic Kingdom Park early to eat dinner and get ready for candy and costumes. You do not need a standard theme park ticket in addition to the party ticket and should follow costume guidelines for the party.

planDisney Pro Tip: Shop early in the evening to make sure you get the special party items you want before they are sold out. The Emporium is the best place and if you do not want to carry the items around, you could store them in a Rental Locker just near the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park.

Again, to my phantom friend, I hope this information helps you enjoy (in my opinion) the best party at Magic Kingdom Park. Please write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

Enjoy making many Ghoulishly Magical Memories.
