HI- my family and I are attending a mickey christmas party in December, my question is since the party starts and 7pm we would like to have dinner somewhere before hand, looking for a recommendation for a table service meal with a 2 1/2 year old?

    Hi, Lisa!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit.  I love all the music, decorations, and fun!

I suggest a simple meal around 5pm in one of the resorts on the monorail line.  My first choice would be the Grand Floridian Cafe at the beautiful Grand Floridian Resort.   It is a lovely restaurant with a menu that will have something for everyone.  After dinner you can hop on the monorail and you are just one stop away from the Magic Kingdom.

Another option would be The Wave at the Contemporary or even dining right at your home resort before leaving for the night.  Wherever you decide, make sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations

Have a wonderful time celebrating the holidays in Walt Disney World.  Mickey sure knows how to throw a great party - Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
