My family will be attending Disney for our first trip in April. This is our first trip, we opted to get the dining plan. I have read that at counter service restaurants, children can order from the adult menu, is this true?

Hello Katie.  Thank  you for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help!

My family and I absolutely love the Disney Dining Plan, it saves us money and it is so nice having everything paid for ahead of time.  Per the rules of the Disney Dining Plan children are required to order off of the children's menu when one is present.  That rule applies to the Quick Service options as well.  There are several Quick Service restaurants where there is not a children's menu.  If you dine at those places, like Casey's Corner at Magic Kingdom, your child is free to order whatever he/she would like on the menu.

Have a magical vacation.  If I can help you with any other questions you may have, feel free to ask!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
