My family is ataying at AOA in June and we are renting our own car. I want to purchase some groceries and would like to know about the appliances that are found in the family suites. what kind of coffee maker is there? Is there a toaster? Microwave?

    Hi Alison!

You are going to love the new Art of Animation Resort! I took a tour of it in November 2012 and I was blown away at the rooms and the overall theme! The kitchenettes in the Art of Animation Family Suites were amazing as well. Each kitchenette has a small microwave (Avanti brand microwave), a small dorm sized refrigerator (a little bigger than a mini-fridge), a coffee maker (Cuisinart pod type of coffee maker) and sink.  There is not a toaster in the rooms, but toasters are available for use in the Landscape of Flavors in the Art of Animation Main Building.  The kitchenette is stocked with plastic forks, knives, and spoons (six each in plastic wrapping), a bottle opener, a can opener, two coffee service packs and a roll of paper towels. There also are paper plates, paper bowls, clear plastic disposable bathroom cups, and styrofoam coffee cups (six of each of these items), plus an ice bucket.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
