Hi Lisa! The best way to transfer luggage between two Disney Resort hotels is to use Bell Services. Because, you are checking out of one Disney Resort hotel and checking into another Disney Resort hotel on the same day, Bell Services can transfer your luggage for you. You will need to notify Bell Services prior to check out that you need the transfer and they will provide luggage tags that indicate transfer to Disney's Contemporary Resort. The best part is that you can enjoy Disney Parks or the either resort uninterrupted once you check out of Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

I recommend that you use online check -in and check-in for both resorts at the same time, because you can check-in up to 10 days prior to arrival. At 3 pm, all you will have to do is go to the Online Check-in counter at Disney's Contemporary Resort. and get your Keys to the World. You can have your luggage sent to your guest room and continue to enjoy your vacation. If your room is not ready, you can elect to receive a call once it is ready and then have your luggage brought up.
