Greetings, Bob, and welcome to planDisney! Before the Disneyland Resort magic begins, let's make sure you've got parking and charging covered.
As a Guest of the Disneyland Hotel, you'll have the choice between
self-parking and valet parking, each offered for an additional fee. Self-parking at the Disneyland Hotel is located in a nearby uncovered surface lot. As you mentioned, the covered spaces in the adjacent parking garage are typically used for valet parking. I am happy to report that the self-parking lot has ChargePoint charging ports. Just note that you'll need to scan a ChargePoint card to use one.
I absolutely love the
Disneyland Hotel. In fact, I stayed there with my family for a week during the holidays. There's so much to love – it perfectly blends nostalgia with modern Disney whimsy. The rooms are full of charming details, such as headboards at each bed with twinkling fireworks, decorative pillows, Mickey glove accents on the lamps, and framed artwork.
Bob, make sure to set time aside for the
pool area. We have great weather here in Orange County this week for it! You'll notice a tropical vibe, fun Monorail water slides, whirlpool spas, a splash pad, and more around the pools. Plus, when it's time for a break, you can pop over to
Tangaroa Terrace for a Dole Whip. My kids ask me all the time when we can go back for more water fun.
There are fun
activities for hotel Guests, too. Check with the Front Desk for a schedule and ask about joining the Disneyland Hotel tour. It was one of the highlights of my recent stay!
Bob, I hope your family has the best week at the Disneyland Resort. If you have any questions during your visit, the Front Desk can assist you. There's also a useful chat feature on the
Disneyland mobile app. Of course, we're always happy to help here at planDisney, too. Reach out anytime!
Your pal,
Kriss
