    My family will be arriving at the Port Orleans resort on June 15th-20th. I am trying to figure out where we will be eating and make our reservations. When you make your reservations do they all require you to use your credit card? Is this new?

    Hello, Dionne!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

    First, I would like to wish you and your family a Happy New Year!  I am very excited to read about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.  June will be here before you know it, so we had better get started.

    Once you begin making your Disney dining reservations, you will soon notice that some, but not all, require that you leave a credit card number.  All of the character dining experiences will require a credit card number, so if you are planning on booking one of these dining experiences, be prepared to have your credit card handy.  Now please note that Disney is constantly making changes.  My information in based on my last visit which was a week ago and Disney does reserve the right to change their requirements.  Do not be surprised if ALL dining experiences are requiring you to leave a number when you begin your planning.  What is in place today, may change by tomorrow.
